HAWAIʻI ISLAND - The Hāpuna State Recreation Area was recently ranked the Top Beach of 2021 by “Dr. Beach”. State officials say the honor highlights the continuing paradox of protecting the features that make it #1, while sharing it with an ever-increasing throng of visitors.
