HAWAIʻI ISLAND - Activity has been stable in recent days with no major changes. Only the western portion of the lava lake is active. The US Geological Survey Hawaiian Volcano Observatory says the vigor of the lava stream fluctuated on Tuesday, with cycles lasting 5-6 minutes.
