A community member shared their experience of arriving on Maui at Kahului Airport. The line was short to get their QR Code scanned. In this example, they were on their way to the beach in less than 10-minutes.
Maui has added a lot more tables for the peak arrival times.
We have heard, and from our own experience, the islands have improved the screening process to reduce the wait time on arrival. It looks very efficient to walk off the plane, get people ready with their QR codes on their phones or printed, and then scanned by the friendly airport staff.
