We are exploring the Big Island this week! First up was North Kohala District to hike into the Pololu Valley. This sacred spot is home to jaw-dropping coastal views, a valley oasis, and a black sand beach. Well worth the 0.8-mile hike and 400 ft elevation drop into the valley with Henry on my back.
