Surprise update from Hawaii Governor Ige! July 8th people vaccinated on mainland or Hawaii can come to Hawaii without taking a negative COVID-19 test. That is right, starting July 8th it is easier for vaccinated travelers to visit Hawaii.

The state of Hawaii was planning to end the restriction at 60% fully vaccinated. They may still hit 60% by July 8th but the state just gave a clear date for vaccinated travelers.

They are still planning to end all travel restrictions at 70% fully vaccinated. Stay tuned for more info.

Unvaccinated travelers are welcome to come to Hawaii. They must continue to take a negative COVID test 72 hours before departure.
