If you can't get a rental car for your Hawaii vacation then you have lots of ground transport options when leaving the airport.
We have found taxis, Ubers, and Lyfts to be readily available as they want the higher airport rates. You can also book a Roberts Hawaii, Speedi Shuttle, or other local shuttle company that drops you off at your resort.
For Maui visitors, you can try the new Maui Aloha Shuttle. The airport shuttle is $50 a person but has proven popular with the rental car shortage on Maui.

Another Polynesian Adventure Tours motor coach will leave Kahului Airport daily at 11:15 a.m., 1:15 p.m., and 3:15 p.m. to drop off passengers in South Maui at Wailea Beach Resort – Marriott, Maui; Residence Inn Wailea, Andaz Maui at Wailea Resort, Grand Wailea Maui, Four Seasons Resort Maui at Wailea, and Fairmont Kea Lani.
