Ron Yuan has been a force in front of and behind the camera – Hollywood’s secret weapon. Yuan is one of the most sought after character actors with over two decades of experience from off Broadway to FILM/TV and in addition, is an excellent martial artist. Most recently, Ron Yuan starred as Sergeant Qiang in Disney’s live-action adaptation of Mulan. He has had roles in Sons of Anarchy, Prison Break, Golden Boy, Siren, and CSI: NY, to name a few. He also lent his voice to many video game series, including Mortal Kombat 11 as the iconic Scorpion, Call of Duty: Black Ops II & III, Halo, Resident Evil, and many more.
Yuan will be donning the Director’s hat for Universal and Netflix’s next untitled project from the 47 Ronin lore. Currently in post-production, Yuan’s directorial debut, Step Up China, is sure to be the next exciting chapter in the Step Up franchise.
