A harmless whale watching trip turned into a dolphin invasion off the coast of Maui. We not only saw humpback whales, but we got to join false killer whales on a hunt.
Jordan and I headed out with Ultimate Whale Watch and Snorkel for a rafting adventure. While the whale watching started off slow, it heated up when a lone humpback whale joined two bottlenose dolphins on a chase. Then we joined four false killer whale dolphins (rare in Hawaii) on a hunt.
To top it all off, I then got surrounded by spinner dolphins later that night when I went out standup paddle boarding. It was an amazing day of whale watching and dolphin spotting.
